Police began clearing anti-Israel demonstrators from an encampment on Yale’s campus early Monday after a week of protests calling for the university to divest from military weapons manufacturers.
At least 16 protesters were arrested Sunday night after police searched a tent set up at a Beinecke Plaza encampment where more than 250 agitators had gathered, the Yale Daily News reported. It was done.
