A diverse line-up of artists from various music genres is set to perform at the Great American State Fair, taking place on the National Mall from June 25 to July 10.
Freedom 250 shared this exciting announcement on social media recently, highlighting performers like Flo Rida and Vanilla Ice, who will join in on the celebration for America’s 250th birthday.
Country singer Martina McBride and the iconic C+C Music Factory, known for “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” are also among the acts scheduled to perform.
In their announcement, Freedom 250 expressed enthusiasm: “The lineup for The Great American State Fair is here — and it’s bringing the hits.”
According to Fox5DC, McBride will kick things off on June 25, while Bret Michaels is set to perform on July 3.
The Commodores, rapper Young MC, and Milli Vanilli are also on the bill, alongside R&B acts like Morris Day and The Time. More artists are expected to be added as the dates draw nearer.
Keith Krach, CEO of Freedom 250, commented that the fair aims to unite people from all 56 states and territories to honor the traditions, innovations, music, military heritage, freedom, and entrepreneurial spirit that define America. He mentioned that the gathering is “a moment for America to come together.”
