Elon Musk Critiques Bill Gates Over Epstein Connection
In a recent exchange, Elon Musk took aim at Bill Gates, spotlighting Gates’ previous association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Musk’s comments were sparked by Gates’ critique of proposed government cuts, which he claimed could lead to significant harm, perhaps even “millions of deaths.” He also suggested these cuts could contribute to a negative response regarding mask mandates.
According to Gates, reducing funding for USAID, a key US foreign aid program, jeopardizes children’s safety worldwide. Yet, he chose not to engage in the debate surrounding American taxpayers’ role in supporting issues abroad.
“The photographs of the world’s wealthiest man causing suffering for the poorest children are striking,” Gates stated early this month.
Gates further accused Musk of instructing hospitals in Gaza to withdraw funding. This hospital had faced scrutiny over claims that resources were misappropriated to send condoms to Hamas.
For decades, USAID has included contraceptives in its public health initiatives, aimed at enhancing reproductive health, averting sexually transmitted infections, and lowering unintended pregnancies in regions with limited healthcare access.
“He cut that funding, and I hope he will meet with children who are living with HIV,” Gates remarked.
Musk responded by questioning how Gates could maintain a moral upper ground, given his ties to Epstein and prior controversial statements.
“Who does Gates think he is, commenting on the welfare of children when he had close ties with Epstein?” a critic asked in response to Gates’ statements.
“I wouldn’t trust that guy with my child, that’s for sure,” Musk added.
Moreover, Musk challenged Gates to provide concrete evidence linking the proposed government funding cuts to adverse effects on children in impoverished nations.
“Show us the proof that it’s true. It’s not right,” Musk insisted.
Gates reportedly met with Epstein several times in 2011, once even staying late at Epstein’s place. His interactions with Epstein began after Epstein had already been convicted for soliciting minors and was required to register as a sex offender. Records indicate that during a visit to Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse, Gates met a former Miss Sweden and her 15-year-old daughter.
After the visit, Gates described the discrepancies in their lifestyles, saying it “didn’t work for me.”
