Billionaire Donald Trump's ally Elon Musk recently expressed support for the North Atlantic Treaty Agency (NATO) and the United States leaving the United Nations.

In the X-Post Saturday night, Magazine influencer Gunther Eagleman wrote in response to Sen. Mike Lee (R-UTAH) that he was “time to leave the NATO and the United Nations.”
Musk responded to Eagleman's post, adding that he simply “I agree.”
Musk continued to share the Sunday morning X-Post by Kentucky representative Thomas Massey. He writes:
Furthermore, Musk expressed skepticism about Ukraine's continued demand for support, saying, “EU leaders and Zelensky are having a flashy dinner, while men die at Trench. How many parents will never see their son again? How many children will never see their father?”
Musk's attitude towards NATO and the United States leaving the United Nations is consistent with his leadership in government efficiency as the US spends disproportionately on defense spending for two international organizations.
President Trump has not explicitly stated his plans to withdraw from NATO, but has called on European leaders to increase their share of defence spending.
Musk's comments follow after the Trump administration was publicly skeptical of Ukrainian leader Voldymir Zelensky, adding that Ukrainian entry into NATO was “unrealistic.”
President Trump recently argued that NATO's expansion into Ukraine could have played a major role in pursuing the war. Putin warned that NATO expansion on Russian borders will be considered a hostile act since 2008, after the alliance announced that Ukraine would eventually become a member.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov praised President Trump for his comments on NATO's expansion into Ukraine.
“He was the first and so far, in my opinion, the only Western leader to publicly and loudly say that one of the underlying causes of the situation in Ukraine was the pure boundaries of the regime before it had drawn Ukraine into NATO,” Lavrov said.
It is still unclear whether President Trump will act on Musk's call to withdraw international alliances as the war in Ukraine continues to infuriate his third year.
