Musk says he has no plans to buy TikTok

Tech billionaire Elon Musk said he's not interested in getting the video sharing app Tiktok and has no plans for what to do if he owns it.

Musk made his remarks during a virtual session at the Welt Economic Summit on January 28th. video It was released by Welt Group on Saturday.

“I'm not bidding on Tiktok and I have no plans for what to do if I own it,” Musk said.

US lawmakers initially planned to block Tiktok due to national security concerns, but the platform ban was delayed.

Despite saying they don't plan to sell, some investors have expressed interest in purchasing the company.

Tiktok in January also shut down speculation, sparking reports that Musk could potentially buy the app “Pure Fiction.”

Meanwhile, Trump said he is in discussions with various political parties about getting Tiktok.

The app boasts approximately 170 million users in the US

On Monday, the president issued an executive order to establish a sovereign wealth fund that will be used to purchase Tiktok.

Mrbeast, a popular YouTuber named Jimmy Donaldson, publicly expressed his desire to buy the app in January. “Shark Tank” investor Kevin O'Leary and former La Dodgers owner Frank McCourt are among several billionaires showing interest.
