Musk participated in a coffee ceremony at the royal court, and the lunch extended with Trump’s arrival. The CEO of Tesla was spotted engaging in conversation with the Crown Prince and other industry leaders.
Trump introduced Bin Salman, and the two shared a brief chat, during which three men were seen patting Musk on the back.
Among the notable business leaders in attendance were FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, IBM CEO Arvind Krishna, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.
It remains uncertain whether Musk will accompany Trump on subsequent legs of his Middle East trip to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Musk serves as a key advisor to the Government Efficiency Bureau (DOGE) and has been consistently supportive of Trump since the election, frequently joining events such as Cabinet meetings on Air Force One.
His unique government role is set to conclude on May 30, after which he intends to press Tesla’s board members to allow him to return fully to the company in Washington. In a recent interview with Hill and other reporters, he noted that his schedule at the White House has been reducing by one to two days each week.
