My Opponent Bob Casey Is a ‘Rubber Stamp’ for the Biden Agenda

Democratic Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) is a “rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s policies,” Republican Senate candidate David McCormick said. Breitbart News Saturdaydetails why he chose to enter the race.

He pointed directly to President Biden’s leadership and policies, saying, “My motivation for running for the Senate is actually my belief that the country is headed in the wrong direction.” Mr. McCormick’s Democratic opponent, Sen. Casey, has supported Mr. Biden’s policies “every step of the way,” serving in what Mr. McCormick described as a “rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s policies.”

Mr McCormick highlighted some of the key issues, noting the pace of decline in the country as it battles inflation, crime, border crisis and weakening overseas.

“The anti-inflation law (I like to call it the pro-inflation law) is a big driving force,” he said, explaining that huge spending is “pushing up inflation.” He continued that Sen. Casey supports Biden’s economic policies “every step of the way.”

Mr. McCormick also outlined the unfortunate state of affairs on other issues, drawing connections between Mr. Biden’s bad policies and Mr. Casey’s continued policy support.

“I could go on and on. Domestic energy, energy dependency, all kinds of problems, but the point is, the country is going in a terrible direction under Joe Biden, and Pennsylvanians are suffering. And they have a guy named Bob Casey, who was really a rubber stamp for Joe Biden. He said Mr. Casey is voting for Mr. Biden 98 percent of the time, and he once said that Mr. Casey was voting for Mr. Biden at the time. This is especially important, as he criticized Sen. Rick Santorum, who almost always voted for former President Bush.

“He was running against a sitting senator and claimed that the senator was voting in lockstep with the president,” he said, adding, “Pennsylvanians are famously independent. ” he pointed out.

He went on to say that Pennsylvania voters don’t want a Republican or Democratic Party that merely acts as a yes-man for the president.

“There are two problems with Bob Casey. The first is that he is a senior senator in one of the most influential states in the country, one of the largest economies. It’s a swing state. And he’s literally, and I’m not exaggerating, he’s accomplished literally nothing,” McCormick said. “You can point to legislative successes. Bob Casey is known throughout the Commonwealth for nothing that is characteristic of him. He accomplished nothing,” McCormick said. He also emphasized how most Americans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction.

It is “directly related to the failure of Joe Biden’s leadership,” he continued.

listen:

“And Bob Casey has been with him every step of the way,” he continued, emphasizing that Casey has no track record but has been “a creature of Washington” for the past 17 years.

A recent national public relations poll found Mr. Casey lagging behind typical Republican candidates in the Keystone State.

“He’s a career rubber-stamp politician, and I’m going to go in front of the voters and make my case.” [which] You know, this is a Pennsylvania success story. A boy who grew up in rural Pennsylvania. I had the opportunity to go to West Point and serve my country and then come back and participate in the creation of a great business that created hundreds of jobs. And that’s the contrast. “That’s in contrast to the status quo,” he said. “If you want the status quo, vote for Bob Casey. If you want more of the policies that Biden failed, vote for Bob Casey.

“If we want to change things, we need people who will fight for the people of Pennsylvania, people who believe in all that is great about America and believe that the best days are yet to come, but that means electing leaders who will fight for Pennsylvania.” “Only if you have those right principles, that’s the fact,” he continued, expressing the belief that Casey is vulnerable. But he is not “underestimating the magnitude of this challenge.”

“Democrats are going to do everything they can to win the Senate seat. [Senate Majority Leader] “Chuck Schumer is going to put endless amounts of money into it,” he said, explaining that there is a “big mountain to climb.”

“I think our cause is right here. We want great American leadership and a great senator who will fight for the people of Pennsylvania, but I don’t think we have it. “We, the people of Pennsylvania, are underrepresented,” he continued.

McCormick, who lost the Senate primary against Mehmet Oz in the last election cycle, said that in his life, “I’ve made a lot of mistakes,” but “I’ve learned from those failures and how I’ve overcome them to get back on my feet.” This is the job of a leader: the resilience to shake yourself up, to brush yourself off, learn from your mistakes, and move forward.
