My surprising experience in a $160K Ammortal Chamber

Introducing a New Wellness Gadget: The Femoral Ventricle

What’s sleek, red, and buzzing with energy, yet feels like something out of a futuristic movie? That would be the Femoral Ventricle, a so-called “human optimization device” that’s certainly turning heads.

According to its creators, this high-tech pod can enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellness in just half an hour. It’s already gaining traction among biohackers, athletes, and wellness enthusiasts.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first. I mean, how could something like this really work?

In 2023, the $160,000 FemoralVenture made its debut, and it’s rapidly becoming a go-to tool in spas, clinics, and sports facilities across the U.S. and Canada.

Brian Le Gette, the CEO and co-founder of the company behind this innovation, shared that his inspiration stemmed from a desire to help people optimize their bodies and minds for better self-recognition and satisfaction.

Drawing from NASA’s zero-gravity research, this futuristic bed combines ten different non-invasive therapies into a single session.

“When used together, these techniques can enhance each other’s effectiveness. Plus, it’s more time-efficient than using each approach separately,” explains Le Gette.

These therapies include red and near-infrared light, pulsed electric and electromagnetic field therapy, vibroacoustic sound therapy, molecular hydrogen treatments, and guided meditation.

Last month, I had a chance to test the Femoral Ventricle during the Athletech News Innovation Summit on Fifth Avenue.

Inside the Chamber

During the 20-minute session, I was encouraged to wear minimal clothing to allow maximum exposure to the healing lights—some even go in entirely nude, apparently.

I strapped on a pair of goggles that resembled those used in tanning beds to shield my eyes, and hooked up a nasal cannula to breathe in molecular hydrogen.

When settled, I interacted with a touchscreen that directed my experience. I was feeling quite drained after an intense work week, and I entered the session with a nagging headache.

So when prompted to set an intention, I decided to keep it straightforward.

The Experience

The chamber glowed as the lid gently lowered over me, enveloping me in warm red light. Soft music played while the voice guided me to breathe deeply, and the device began to hum and vibrate.

Like many busy New Yorkers, I often struggle to find my calm. Yet, within this pod, guided meditation helped me focus, allowing the device to do its work.

I managed to let go of distracting thoughts about dinner or catching the subway.

Le Gette mentions, “It’s about healing the body and mind simultaneously.” I wasn’t sure what to expect post-session, but I knew the various therapies offered distinct benefits.

For instance, red and near-infrared light therapy has been linked to skin healing, reduced inflammation, and increased energy.

Then there’s PEF and PEMF therapy, which can assist in pain relief and wound healing. Vibroacoustic therapy reportedly aids pain management and improves sleep.

Even molecular hydrogen inhalation is said to help boost cell resilience.

And of course, guided meditation—well, that’s a time-honored practice in wellness.

Before I knew it, my session wrapped up. A soothing voice nudged me out of my trance, and the bright red light dimmed to a gentle glow.

How Effective Was It?

As I got dressed, I noticed a remarkable lightness in my body. The tension I usually carry in my shoulders and neck from being hunched over my computer? Gone.

I didn’t just feel better—my head was clear, and I was energized, almost ready to take on a new workday. The fog had lifted.

Stepping out of the pod into the bustling street, I realized my headache had vanished.

I came in skeptical, but now… maybe it’s time for an office investment in a Femoral Ventricle.

Notable Fans

Professional athletes are also taking notice. Bobby Miller, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, shared that after a spring training incident, his headache disappeared after just a 15-minute session in the chamber.

It’s not just athletes—celebrities like Dave Asprey have expressed interest. An internal study by Ammortal revealed that about 95% of users report deep relaxation post-session.

To maximize effects, it’s suggested to use the chamber several times a week. However, even infrequent use can offer mental health benefits by helping to move the body out of stress mode.

Le Gette noted that Ammortal plans to roll out more than 100 of these chambers soon.

Curious? You can find the Femoral Ventricle in several locations, including sports clubs and wellness centers across the country.

“We’re aiming to make these accessible everywhere, so everyone can experience the benefits,” Le Gette expressed.
