Reports of mysterious drones flying over New Jersey's skies continue to come, and residents have no answers as to why there are so many drone sightings.
According to reports, the drone was first spotted over Morris County, New Jersey, in mid-November. Since then, drones have been regularly observed across the Garden State, with a recent uptick in Middlesex County and other parts of the state.
State officials say they are taking reports of mysterious drone sightings seriously, and Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy said Thursday there is no known threat to the public at this time.

Murphy said he met with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and leaders from the Department of Homeland Security, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, and the New Jersey State Police to discuss the drone sightings.
The FBI is investigating sightings and urges the public to report any sightings of drones.

“FBI Newark, New Jersey State Police, and New Jersey Department of Homeland Security and Preparedness are requesting you to report information related to recent sightings of possible drones flying in several areas along the Raritan River. We are asking the public to do so,” the FBI said in a statement. December 3rd.
“Witnesses spotted a group of fixed-wing aircraft, believed to be unmanned aircraft,” the statement continued. “We have reports from the public and law enforcement going back several weeks.”

Drones have been seen every night in some areas, and some have been seen traveling in groups.
Drone sightings were recently reported on New York's Staten Island.
