Mysterious Space Force ship back on Earth after 434 days in orbit

The secret spaceship has returned to Earth after spending 434 days in orbit carrying out mystical tests.

The Boeing X-37B ship was quietly launched by SpaceX from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida in 2023 and remained in orbit until Friday morning until landing at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

USSF landed flights to exercise the ship's rapid ability to launch and recover systems at multiple sites. said in a statement.

This was the seventh successful test flight of one of these vehicles, Space Force officials said.

“Mission 7 broke new ground by introducing the X-37B's ability to flexibly achieve test and experimental goals across the orbital regimen,” General Chance Salzmann said in a statement.

“The successful implementation of the aerobreak operation underscores the US Space Force's commitment to pushing up the boundaries of new space operations in a safe and responsible way,” the general concluded.

Other space force officials called successful tests “a significant milestone.”

The military division, created in Trump, said Friday in a statement Friday that Space Force engineers were testing the vessel's “space domain recognition technology” through experiments.

During the 434-day journey, Space Force officials boasted that the X-37B had successfully demonstrated its ability to change tracks by slowing down using atmospheric drag.

This method of trajectory change also retained fuel and allowed the mission to last for a long period of time.

Although it appears to be a bit worn out from the extended trip, the unmanned, 29 feet long, 15 feet wide spacecraft had an impressive image of Vanderberg's tarmac.

that Similar to the famous NASA Space Shuttle It's solar-powered, and it's particularly lacking any kind of Portol, making it quite small.
