The Edmonton Oilers’ mystery flasher who made headlines after baring her breast during a game has finally broken her silence about what “triggered” the lewd act.
A fan, identified only as Kate, told Barstool Sports “Spittin’ Chiclets” podcast Her true identity had long been shrouded in mystery due to her on-screen antics, but on Monday it was revealed.
When asked what prompted her to rush into wearing the top, she initially responded sheepishly, “Um, what… I don’t know.”
“The cheesecake I ate all day and the eight bottles of Truly I drank in first period were definitely inspiring,” she added.
“We all got carried away. It wasn’t planned or anything, it just happened,” she added.
She shot to fame in the NSWF after she was seen on screen rolling up her jersey and stripping naked during the Western Conference final against the Dallas Stars on May 31.
The footage of her escapades quickly went viral on social media, and she was inundated with job offers from numerous porn sites.
One adult site, CamSoda, promised her up to $100,000 if she “flashed her breasts like she did the other night” on its streaming service.
Kate said that after finding the footage online, she reported it and “got it removed” by X, but it has since resurfaced and “come back with a vengeance”.
“I’m still trying to get into the witness relocation program a little bit,” joked Kate, who wore a hoodie and large sunglasses during the brief podcast interview.
Kate, who works in the Canadian oil fields, also answered a question that “a lot of people had.”
When asked if her breasts were real, she replied, “No, they’re not real.”
