Mystical leader of shamanistic community arrested, accused of child sex abuse spanning a decade, SoCal police say

Police in Southern California have arrested a man who described himself as a mystical Toltec shaman on suspicion of child sexual abuse spanning a decade.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Arrested Ricardo Flores, 59, was on his way back to the United States from Mexico on Wednesday.

Flores was booked into Smith Correctional Institution on suspicion of forcible rape, aggravated sexual assault of a child, lewd acts with a minor and continuous sexual abuse of a minor.

Police said “multiple victims” have accused Flores of abuse at multiple locations.
