Nancy Guthrie's alleged abductors have not reached out to her family since the $6 million ransom deadline, according to the FBI.

The FBI has indicated that Nancy Guthrie’s suspected kidnappers have not reached out to her family since the troubling deadline for a $6 million ransom passed. The deadline, which was set for 5 p.m. Arizona time on Monday, has come and gone without any sign that a ransom was paid or that the grandmother is still alive.

An FBI spokesperson stated, “We are not aware of any ongoing communication between the Guthrie family and the suspected kidnappers. At this time, we have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in this case.”

The agency has set up a 24-hour command post that includes emergency management experts and investigative teams, but they are urging the public for assistance. “Someone has information that could help bring Nancy home,” they noted.

“That sentence gives me chills,” he continued, noting its bluntness.

Furthermore, he shared that there’s no record of any deposits made into the Bitcoin account right after the deadline expired. “There’s nothing there. It’s not in custody,” Levin clarified, mentioning that his team is keeping a close eye on the situation. However, he also warned that the kidnappers might have sent additional Bitcoin addresses in later communications.

In the meantime, Savannah Guthrie, Nancy’s daughter, has expressed gratitude for the support from the community, sharing a video message and appealing for help in locating her missing mother, who disappeared from her Tucson home on February 9, 2026.
