Naomi takes the championship from Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at WWE Evolution.

Naomi had been cautioning the WWE Women’s Division for weeks, and on Sunday, she made a surprising move by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract, dramatically wrapping up the evolution event.

In a thrilling match, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley went head-to-head, showcasing incredible moves like Ripley’s Spanish Fly from the top rope and a daring crossbody from the air, which seemed to electrify the audience.

But things took a sudden turn when Naomi entered the ring just as Ripley executed her Spanish Fly. Naomi quickly transformed the one-on-one match into a triple threat by bringing in the referee. With skillful precision, she struck Sky with the Money in the Bank briefcase and sent Ripley crashing into the ring post, giving Sky quite the shock.

In the end, Naomi pinned Sky, emerging as the new Women’s World Champion, marking her third title reign.

Earlier in the evening, Naomi had faced off against Jade Cargill in a match that had its own twists—she sported a bandage on her nose but didn’t seem hindered enough to walk away without a win shortly after.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Verker was vying for a title shot after winning a 20-woman battle royal, which came down to notable wrestlers from Chile and Rush legends. The match had intense moments, like when Vaquer wrapped her legs around the head of a legendary competitor and executed a surprising maneuver, which resulted in the legend being eliminated.

The battle royal included participants like Nikki Bella, Jada Parker, and Becky Lynch, among others.

Gunther successfully defeated Goldberg during a special retirement match for legends, while Seth Rollins seemed to have sustained a knee injury.

Looking ahead, Vaquer is set to host a women’s championship match on August 31st at Clash in Paris, shortly after Summerslam.

In another highlight of the night, Tiffany Stratton overcame a challenge from Trish Stratus, a match that Stratton had long desired, defending her title successfully with an impressive finishing move.

Other title defenses were also underway, with Becky Lynch beating Lyla Valkyria and Bailey to retain the intercontinental championship. Jacy Jayne held her ground against Jordynne Grace with some crafty backup tactics.

Finally, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez teamed up for the first time, successfully defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against formidable teams, including Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
