NASA commander had near-collision with two ‘metallic orbs’ in private plane

A former NASA commander has revealed that he nearly collided with two mysterious “metal spheres” while piloting his private plane in Texas last summer.

Astronaut Leroy Chao, who served on Space Shuttle Flight 3 and was the commander of Expedition 10, spoke about his midair encounter with two unidentified flying objects in an interview with NewsNation last week.

Dr. Leroy Chao claims to have discovered two metal balls while flying his private plane from Colorado.

“It was August, and I was flying back from Colorado, refueling a small plane in the Texas Panhandle, and heading back to Houston,” Chao said. NewsNation's The Hilladding, “The air was clear and we were at about 9,000 feet.”

“Then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, two large overlapping metal spheres about 3 feet in diameter whizzed past my plane, directly below and about 20 feet away, to the left of my plane,” Chao said. I remembered.

“I looked at them closely, but it was only for a second. It happened so quickly that I didn’t even have time to be scared, but if they had actually hit me, it could have turned out badly. '' said Chao. A “sphere” that is about to collide.

Chao explained that the two spheres did not appear on his plane's radar, and air traffic control did not inform him of their presence.

“I don't know what it was. My first guess is that it was some kind of military project, some kind of drone, but it's hard to say, right?” Chao he said.

Chao said he felt it was simply “bad luck” that the sphere did not hit his plane.

He also weighed in on the drone phenomenon in New Jersey, saying it's “hard to believe” that the government doesn't know what's going on in the Garden State.

Reports of drones, some displaying sophisticated capabilities, began in New Jersey on Nov. 18 and spread across the state, then to Staten Island over the next few weeks.

Last month, local news broadcast helicopter footage that happened to record a mysterious, ball-like object screaming over the Hudson River, possibly coming from the direction of New Jersey.

And last year, the Pentagon released radar footage of what appeared to be a sphere moving through military-controlled airspace, claiming it could not identify the object.
