Joey Logano competed for the top spot in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, but he settled into fifth place as teammate Austin Sindrick won.
For Team Pensuke Driver, it was far from all the rainbows and sunshine. Logano was heard torn to by Cindric at the end of stage 2. Cindric was running towards the front as he was forced to check up and stopped the line. Bubba Wallace now has control over the stage.

Rogano finished behind Wallace on stage, with Kyle Larson in third and Cindrick in fourth.
The frustration was short-lived.

Cindric went back to the front of the pack and managed to win a 500 Jack Link. Logano finished in fifth place. Fellow Ford driver Ryan Place finished second. Larson came in third and William Byron came in fourth.

This was Cindric’s third victory in his NASCAR Cup Series career, and the first since last season. He finished three top 10 this season. Last year he was 23rd in the spring Talladega race.
