Riggs appeared to injure himself while standing on his vehicle near the start-finish line, raising his right fist in celebration. Riggs said he dislocated his shoulder. He was removed from the truck and then his team helped him put his shoulder back in place.

“I dislocated my shoulder. I was so excited. It hurts so much, but yeah, it was worth it,” he said after the race. “It’s not the first time this has happened, but it’s not going to slow me down.”
