Nasty ‘bug’ does not slow down Charley Hull at HSBC Women’s World Championship

No matter what challenge Charley Hull throws her way, she always seems to be out of nowhere.

The same was true in the third round on Saturday in Singapore. Hal revealed he had fallen ill earlier that morning after firing a bogey-free 4-under 68. However, she showed no signs of fatigue or westiness during her round.

“I woke up this morning and was actually ill,” Hal said.

“I threw it, and then I put my head together.”

Anything that her body helped as fitness fanatic Hal, has scored her best 5K hours in the gym. Talk about bouncing back.

“I actually knocked 30 seconds off,” Hal said.

“I was pretty happy about it. It kept me in a good space for the rest of the day. I went out to the golf course and played golf.”

The attractive British woman added that she finds “great” and diagnosed her illness as “a little bug.”

Hal didn't reveal whether she had eaten anything from the normal thing or felt more exhausted than usual.

“I think you're always tired when you leave the golf course. But I'm up early, I'm training and I'm going to go to bed really early, so I feel good and I'm getting better the next day,” Hal said.

“I'm pretty pleased with the way I go and look forward to tomorrow. And there's another day before I get home.”

Hal faces a one-shot deficit to world's third-largest Lydiaco sitting on a 10-under par leaderboard. These two will also be made up of the final group to support Singaporean fans in an All-Star pairing.

“I like to play with Lydia. She's really, really nice, realistic and very kind,” Hal said.

“Just get out there and play golf with a little chop.”

Despite everything that's happened to Hull in the last 24 hours, her process remains the same from the soaring from illness to competition to playing in the LPGA Hall of Fame and the final round.

“My way of thinking is literally no different from the last three days,” Hal said.

Just get out there, play golf, put a hole in your putt, have fun. It's really about that. It's just a game at the end of the day. ”
