Hollywood's elite often make news for choosing to bare it all on screen, but many of the world's biggest actresses actually advocate being more hidden on screen.
Some people cite personal reasons, while others worry that their families might catch a glimpse of something explicit. We take a look at some of the A-list women who don't go nude.
During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Natalie Portman revealed the one thing she would never do for a role.
“Show me my boobs,” the “May December” actress said with a laugh. “Is that really rude?”
“I always don't want my kids to see my pictures online,” she says of her reasons for hiding.
Portman did a nude scene in Wes Anderson's 2007 short film Hotel Chevalier, but she's been candid about why she's not entirely happy with the decision.
“The problem is that people talk about it more than short films, which I may have brought on myself by talking about nudity so much. It's making me think maybe I shouldn't have done it,'' she told the Guardian. “I don't regret the actual movie, but I'm really disappointed because I thought it was a great movie and I'm really happy with it. Wes put a lot of time and energy into planning the shots and writing the script.” It was very minimal, very accurate, and by the end, literally half the articles and reviews about it were about nudity.”

“Family Switch” star Jennifer Garner, also known as America's Sweetheart, has no interest in being nude. In 2009, when she was doing a press interview with her Invention of Lies co-star Ricky Gervais, she asserted that Garner had no interest in being nude. She's “not going to take it all off!” Garner told MTV News.
“Okay, then we're even,” Gervais told her. “It's exactly the same thing, 'No way! No way!'”
