Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are set to make their NBA 2K debuts next month when the latest version of the popular video game is released.
But 2K is already building up early anticipation by revealing what two of the WNBA’s newest stars will look like in the game.
The popular video game maker posted two X posts on Wednesday showing Clark and Reese’s looks in NBA 2K25, with both posts garnering hundreds of thousands of views on the platform.
“A game changer in every sense of the word,” the post, which included an image of Clark, said.
“Chi Barbie has brought the Windy City to life,” the post about Reese read.
Since being selected first overall by the Fever earlier this year, Clark’s presence in the WNBA has helped propel the league to unprecedented heights.
But Reese carved out his own path in his rookie season and became a force to be reckoned with in Chicago.
Reese is averaging 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds while shooting 40.2 percent from the field.
She also set a WNBA record with 15 consecutive double-doubles before the Olympic break.
Clark has been a dominant force in the WNBA, averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game while shooting just over 40 percent from the field.
Both players are candidates for WNBA Rookie of the Year.
With 16 games remaining in the season, the Fever and Sky are locked in a fierce battle for position, adding a new element to the budding professional rivalry between two of the biggest names in women’s basketball.
NBA 2K25 is scheduled for general release on September 6th.
