NBA players ejected after squaring up to fight

Two NBA opponents were ejected Thursday night after an altercation.

After the Detroit Pistons got a bucket in the third quarter, Paul Reed collided with Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz.

Clarkson had words for Reed, urging him out of the way to get back on defense.

But Reed's teammate Ron Holland II took exception and walked up to Clarkson. Clarkson shoved Holland and the two faced off, but were separated before either could land a punch.

However, that didn't stop the referee from ejecting both players from the match.
