Congratulations to Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow.
Milwaukee moved forward, and the models got engaged together for nearly five years on Valentine's Day weekend. The couple shared it in a joint Instagram post.
Kuzma, 29, proposed to Harlow, 30, in a stunning 8.5-carat oval diamond ring featuring two baguette stones during his vacation in Tark and Caicos. According to Vogue.
He chose that setting as it was the first place they took a vacation together.
“I never asked her what type of ring she liked,” said Kuzma, who designed the ring for three months and designed it herself. “I just wanted to draw a picture of what I felt resemble her. It's elegant, yet very timeless, and at the same time simple.”
Kuzma chartered a private plane, and on top of it decorated the cabin with roses, balloons, chocolate and champagne.
The NBA star asked the Caixkin founder to sit by him and began reading the poems he had written.
The final line of the poem was, “Will you become my wife?”
Harlow said “Yes” before Kuzma pulled out his diamond engagement ring.
Once their private plane landed, Harlow and Kuzma went to their villa, where they were waiting for both their family to surprise them.
Harlow fell to her lap and shed tears as she entered, as she saw in the clip she shared on Instagram.
Kuzma led her to the backyard pool area. There, the DJ was playing “Let's Get Mared” on the edge of the jugged, and dinner was set up on the beach.
They enjoyed surf and turf dinner and wine before Kuzma had another surprise, a fireworks display.
“We're over the moon,” Harlow said.
Kuzma reposted the photo on his Instagram story with the hashtag.
“Assuming diamonds are natural, they cost around $150,000 to $300,000 depending on the quality,” said Olivia Landeau, founder and CEO of Clear Cut. “Her engagement ring is a feminine take in classic style with a slightly vintage talent.”
