A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that almost half of American Muslims support the terrorist group Hamas in its war against Israel, compared to a separate poll of British Muslims. The percentage is similar to that found.

The poll, commissioned by the Henry Jackson Society, an anti-extremism think tank, found that 46 per cent of British Muslims are sympathetic to Hamas, which is classified as a terrorist organization by the British and US governments.
