Neil deGrasse Tyson is a 65-year-old famous astrophysicist who still acts like a child when the obvious truth about differences between men and women is pointed out to him.
“It’s a little weird to separate people by gender in this way. I imagine in 100 years we’re going to look back and say, ‘Did you know 100 years ago we separated boys and girls and they couldn’t compete?'” Tyson said on a podcast with Michael Shermer.
“I agree,” Shermer said, with apparent kindness, before denying Tyson’s claim, “but on average the difference is huge.”
Tyson then tried to interrupt Shermer by putting his hands in the air, but Shermer continued, “No average female wrestler could beat you when you were at your peak.”
“You’re an old man sitting in a rocking chair on the porch,” Tyson said. “You’re criticizing something that needs fixing.”
Dave Rubin can’t believe he’s seeing Tyson “woke up.”
“The only way we’re going to look back 100 years from now and think that having men and women competing separately is outdated is if we drug all the women,” Rubin says.
“At this point, I’m nervous that someone might think that’s a good idea,” Sage Steele added.
