Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to rise in the country's voter polls, winning praise from voters for his strong performance in the ongoing war and standing up to President Joe Biden.
As Breitbart News reported earlier this month, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition of right-wing parties, which suffered a drop in approval ratings in the aftermath of the October 7 terrorist attacks, has regained a majority in recent opinion polls.
The poll gives Prime Minister Netanyahu's coalition government 61 seats, which is the standard for winning a majority in Israel's parliament (120 seats).
Now, a new poll by Israel's Channel 14 (the local equivalent of Fox News) predicts that Prime Minister Netanyahu's coalition will win 62 seats.
Opinion polls suggest that the opposition coalition, seen as keen to appease the Biden-Harris administration, will win only 48 seats, while Arab parties will win 10 seats.
Additionally, opinion polls show Prime Minister Netanyahu's Likud party has 33 seats, one more than it won in the November 2022 election.
Likud won 32 seats in the election, and the coalition government won 65 seats, an unusually strong majority in Israel's difficult multiparty democracy. be.
Biden has previously supported calls for Prime Minister Netanyahu to step down, so the poll results confirm Netanyahu's position at home and abroad.
Israelis are generally impressed with the government and military's performance in the war against Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah, once a formidable enemy, has been shaken to its core by Israel's surprise tactics.
The Biden-Harris administration continues to call for a ceasefire in Lebanon.
