Netflix has announced that it will invest more than $1 billion in film and television production in Mexico over the next four years.
Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos announced the move Thursday at a press conference with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
“This investment and the production that comes from it will benefit Mexican producers, helping to grow the local audiovisual industry and create opportunities across the country,” Sarandos said.
