First on FOX: The bipartisan duo are looking to tag team cyber risks in American grocery and debut new laws to increase analysis and threat detection on critical farms and food infrastructure.
Tom Cotton sees, R-Ark. and Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich. worked together to implement farm and food cybersecurity laws designed to enhance protection across the agriculture and food sectors.
“The American enemy is trying to get the best they can over us, including targeting important industries like agriculture,” Cotton told Fox News Digital in a statement.
“Congress must work with the Agriculture Department to identify and defeat these cybersecurity vulnerabilities,” he said. “This law ensures we are ready to protect the supply chains that our farmers and all Americans rely on.”
