Mark Carney, the new Ottawa Canada self-proclaimed “globalist” prime minister, quickly targeted President Donald Trump when he won his party's leadership contest last week.
Kearney criticized President Trump in his acceptance speech when he acquired a liberal leader last Sunday, adding that Canadian tariffs on Americans remained until Americans “show us respect” and that Canadians are “every time someone else drops their gloves.”
He also tried to tie Trump to his main challenger. “Donald Trump believes that he can weaken us with his plans to divide and conquer,” while “Pierre Polyervell's plans are ready to divide and conquer us.”
“Because the worshiper at Donald Trump's altar will kneel before him, so we won't stand up to him.”

He served as governor of two central banks, Canada and the UK, and was also a senior executive at Goldman Sachs and was a UN envoy for climate action and finance. After not being elected to the office previously, Carney was sworn in to become Canada's 24th Prime Minister on Friday.
He is expected to call the election this week to keep the Liberals in power and win a seat in the House for him.
According to a recent Leger poll, the official opposition Conservatives portrayed Kearney as someone who “not connected to ordinary people” in the heat of their deaths with the Liberals, and who have spent quite a bit of time outside of Canada, Laura Krukimaki told Fox News Digital. Kurkimaki served as the Conservative Deputy National Campaign Manager in the last federal election in 2021.
“For the past five years, Canadians have lined up in the food bank and have experienced a significant increase in livelihood costs, but he has not been in Canada,” Kurkimaki said.
Carney was seen as unreachable to detractors and did not provide an answer during a recent leadership debate when moderators asked candidates if they knew the average cost of a week's worth of food.

“Well, that just happens to be something we need,” he says, adding that he is also a “pragmatist” and a “leader of the crisis.”
When Scarumucci asked Carney how he would respond to the attack that he “has not been in contact with mainstream Canadian civilians,” the new prime minister said that most of his life in Canada is “serving Canadians.”

Carney, who lived in the Tony Ottawa area of Rockcliff Park before becoming prime minister, also retains British and Ireland citizenship. Earlier this month, he said he began the process of abandoning both.
