Jeffrey Epstein, the late sex trafficker, attempted to introduce businessman Steve Tisch to several women. During these exchanges, the New York Giants owner raised a concern about whether one of them was a “sex offender.” This particular conversation happened on June 10, 2013, and revolved around a “Tahitian” woman referred to as “Emily,” who, according to Epstein, was fluent mainly in French.
In an email, Tisch questioned if the woman was a “working girl.” Epstein’s reply was less than clear, asking, “Are you a working girl?” The emails, which were made public by the Justice Department, show confidential discussions among investors and soccer team owners that began in April of that year.
Tisch wrote to Epstein on April 26 about a lunch he had with a friend of Epstein’s assistant, mentioning she was “very cute” and inquiring if Epstein knew anything about her. Epstein, in response, seemed to provide vague details, referring to her as someone with “great-ass fake tit” and noting her relationship dynamics with an older boyfriend in acting school.
In another email, Tisch sought more information about her, specifying if she was “professional or civilian.” Epstein answered, albeit somewhat ambiguously, noting that she appeared serious but added a caution about another contact he had, who was described as a “civilian, but Russian” and not very trustworthy.
Tisch seemed to maintain a lighthearted tone, as evidenced by a follow-up where it appears he poked fun at the situation, even sharing a laugh about a comment Epstein made concerning a woman wanting to see a play but being surprised by the age difference. The conversation captures a mix of levity and underlying tension regarding their interactions with women.
Requests for comments from Tisch or the Giants organization went unanswered.
