Erewhon Grand Opening in West Hollywood Draws Crowds
A green carpet greeted visitors in West Hollywood on Wednesday morning, as hundreds of health-focused Angelenos formed a long line for the opening of Erewhon’s newest store. This location has taken over the space previously occupied by Sprouts Farmers Market.
Wellness buffs and loyal fans of the upscale grocer gathered on Santa Monica Boulevard, eager to snag limited edition products and snap selfies with exclusive $22 coffee-based smoothies available only at this location.
“My mom and I got here at 6 a.m. to grab gift bags,” shared Dr. Charlene Forbes, a local resident. That morning, Erewhon members who made a purchase of $200 received a premium swag bag.
This new store is the latest addition to the beloved market known for its trendy smoothie collaborations with celebrities, stunning displays of fresh produce, and, well, quite noticeable price tags. By the time the store opened at 9 a.m., customers were streaming in, greeted by staff handing out samples.
“I’m from New York, but one of the best things about L.A. is Erewhon,” said Zarna Mahen Joshi. “If there’s a grand opening, you can count on me being here.”
This location features specially curated boutique-style bouquets by LATEP Studio, arranged in soft, spring-like colors, displayed in refrigerated cases.
Reflecting a desire for convenience, the store also includes two kiosks for customers to place orders for pickup, aimed at making the shopping experience smoother for the fast-paced WeHo crowd.
For the grand opening, there were also exclusive merchandise items, such as branded sweatshirts and tote bags available for purchase.
