New Hampshire’s Kelly Ayotte Sounds Alarm as More Illegal Aliens Caught at Northeast Border Than Prior 10 Years Combined

Former Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R), who is currently running for New Hampshire governor, is warning of record numbers of illegal immigrants at New Hampshire’s northeastern border, which has been completely ignored by President Joe Biden’s administration. It’s ringing.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle on SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 Breitbart News SaturdayAyotte said illegal immigration and drug trafficking are so out of control at the U.S.-Canada border that residents are directly addressing the issue.

listen:

“I was in Pittsburgh, New Hampshire, which is the northernmost part of New Hampshire. I met the owner of this farm there, she has a great family farm and is raising her children, it’s a beautiful place. Yes, it has to be idyllic,” Ayotte said.

“[The farm] Borders Canada. They stole her and her husband’s drugs. Please note that there were drugs on her property, but they have owned this property for decades and this has become a big issue under the Biden administration,” Ayotte continued. Ta. “…She’s worried about her children. She knows there are illegal immigrants, they know they’re coming onto her property, and they’re armed. If she doesn’t… It won’t.”

Ayotte noted that the Swanton area on the northeastern border, which includes New York, Vermont and New Hampshire, has captured more than 6,100 illegal aliens crossing the border from 76 countries.

The numbers show more illegal aliens were apprehended at the Northeast border in the past 11 months than in the previous 10 years combined.

“They have literally arrested more people in the last 11 months than in the last 10 years before that. And the people they have arrested … are from 76 countries,” Ayotte said. “These aren’t Canadians coming in because they want to get maple syrup from New Hampshire.”

“This issue is critical,” Ayotte continued. “Governor. [Chris] Sununu asked the Biden administration for more help, but the answer he got was a resounding “no,” as the Biden administration clearly doesn’t care about the border issue. Drugs are rampant and this is a huge problem for every state in this country, not just the border states. ”

Ayotte said the solution to this problem is for New Hampshire to outlaw sanctuary policies and for states like Massachusetts, which discourage illegal immigration by denying them benefits such as driver’s licenses. He said it had to be done.

“I love our ‘live free or die’ values and what we stand for, but when it comes to immigration, that means no sanctuary policies and no driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants. ” said Ayotte. “All of this is happening in Massachusetts, and lo and behold, Governor Healey had to declare a state of emergency because there are so many illegal immigrants that Massachusetts has no sanctuary. Because we have a policy.”

Meanwhile, fentanyl is taking a growing toll on New Hampshire’s small towns and cities.

By 2022, New Hampshire alone will have nearly 440 residents Almost three times as many people die from accidental drug overdoses as the roughly 160 people who died 10 years ago.

The main culprit is fentanyl, which is smuggled across the southern border by Mexican drug cartels and transported to states across the country. Last year, 90% of accidental drug overdoses in New Hampshire were caused by fentanyl.

Ayotte said the fight against fentanyl starts with locking up dealers for good.

“We want fentanyl dealers to understand that when they cross the border from Massachusetts, they are in for a real treat,” Ayotte said. “We’re going to get you, we’re going to arrest you, we’re going to put you in jail. That’s what I’m doing. More against drug traffickers who are killing people in our state and killing people across this country. It is a severe penalty.”

“New Hampshire has a misguided bail reform that is currently creating a revolving door,” Ayotte continued. “Because of this, dangerous criminals are not released on bail or are back on the streets, and literally three people have died because of this…I am calling for stronger bail laws and tougher penalties for fentanyl dealers. I’m looking for it.”

The Republican primary election for New Hampshire governor will be held on September 10, 2024, and the gubernatorial election is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
