Isaacs Reveals Incessant Bullying from Co-Star
In a recent interview, Jason Isaacs disclosed that one of his co-stars, who he referred to as a “global icon,” is “the worst bully ever.” It’s a striking claim and, with Isaacs’ extensive career comprising 176 acting credits over 37 years, it’s a challenge to pinpoint which actor he means.
Interestingly, Isaacs had previously discussed this unnamed co-star in a 2011 interview with The Telegraph, which might help narrow down the possibilities based on past collaborations.
At that time, a Telegraph journalist noted how the actor was able to recount stories about his peers with a certain glamour, accompanied by an impeccable accent.
“He mimics the entire scene based on tales of the actor who tried to push him out of the frame,” Isaacs said, referencing the same anecdote in a Monday interview with Vulture, and added that the A-lister in question had committed even worse offenses.
According to the 62-year-old, this individual “pulls all the old tricks, delivering entirely different performances on set.” Isaacs expressed his dismay, saying, “Yeah, it sucked. I’ve never encountered anything like it. Honestly, I would have licked the ground this person walked on.”
While Isaacs chose not to reveal the identity of this alleged bully, he mentioned several of his notable co-stars dating back to 2011.

On a lighter note, Isaacs mentioned that many of his co-stars were quite humorous. He remarked, “What might seem bad to one person could be great to another. There’s a certain charm in the chaos.” He added that he often found himself “almost judging” the unfolding drama on set.
Interestingly, Isaacs commented on how some actors avoid responsibilities, leave early, or become difficult to work with, humorously suggesting they might be dubbed “troublemakers in their trailers.”
When asked why he didn’t name the actor outright, Isaacs hinted at a sense of restraint, suggesting that calling someone out doesn’t provide any real value. He believed there was something to be learned from shared experiences, saying, “All acting revolves around secrets.”
