Fetterman replied: “Well, they're really part of the organization that was essentially guarding that sleazy ball. And I really don't understand why some people would be okay with that ballot. I really don't understand why someone could weaponize a ballot.” I don't know. It's really just a delivery van that just introduces candidates, but now they're…this weird kind of—they put them in a special place…and I don't think so. Hmm — that's not really a true democracy. But I believe New Jersey voters understand what we want, and we have a chance to vote safely blue here. And the Democratic Party's I think voters will decide that they want representatives in the Senate that reflect our values here.”
Tapper then said, “You're referring to the fact that New Jersey has a strange tradition of allowing county chairs to determine the voting rankings of various candidates. So, in theory, You can put your first choice in a higher position and the most competitive person in a lower position.”
