New Mexico vehicle crash kills 2 US service members, leaves 1 in serious condition

Two US service members have died, and another is in serious condition after crashing Tuesday near Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

Three service members involved in a “vehicle accident” and “vehicle accident” around 8:50am near Santa Teresa were involved in a “vehicle accident,” according to a news release from the USNORTHCOM.

Two people have died and one remains in serious condition at a local medical facility, according to the release.

It is unclear which types of vehicles were involved in the crash and which branches of service members were.

Officials say the deceased’s name will not be released until the near-kin is notified.
