What an absolute mess!
A recent lawsuit reveals that adult toy companies in Brooklyn may be held accountable for selling numerous “fantasy-themed” dildos that closely resemble original designs. Bad Dragon, the company behind these unique products, asserts that several of its items—including ones called Crackers The Cockatrice, Fenrir The Wolf Dragon, Razor the Doberman, and Nocturne The Enderfang—were copied by Sinsaint Inc., a business based in Coney Island.
Prices for Bad Dragon items typically range from about $80 to over $200, while Sinsaint’s versions are priced between $85 and $112.
Sinsaint made a bold move by presenting its knockoff dildos at the January 2024 Adult Video News Awards, a significant gathering for the adult industry.
Bad Dragon, which is based in Phoenix, initially filed a lawsuit against the NYC creator in Arizona last year, but the case got thrown out due to jurisdiction issues.

It seems that Sinsaint has started to remove these copies, with names like Asmodeus and Astaroth. However, Bad Dragon argues this isn’t sufficient, stressing that there is “no enforceable guarantee” that Sinsaint won’t continue infringing. They are looking for unspecified damages and profits made from selling these counterfeit items.
Sinsaint has yet to comment on the situation.
