New York Giants’ Darren Waller Releases Another Weird Rap Song Amid Retirement Rumors

It’s a potentially career-ending way to go.

Darren WallerWaller, a retired New York Giants tight end, hasn’t informed the organization if he’s retiring — if he returns for one more season, it would be his 10th overall — but despite the lack of communication, Waller is still in the news thanks to a couple of new rap songs he released after divorcing a WNBA cutie. Kelsey Plum.

Waller recently launched his “music career” with the release of the song “Who Knew (Her Perspective).” He even produced a music video for the song and cast an actress to play Kelsey. In the end, Waller literally got stabbed in the back (LOL). (RELATED: Justin Jefferson signs four-year, $140 million deal with Vikings, becoming highest-paid non-QB in NFL history: Report)

Then on Monday, Waller released another rap song. This time, Waller was a bit more aggressive, taking aim at people (like me) who’d made fun of how he was handling his NFL career and his divorce from Plum. In the Instagram video, Waller sat shirtless on a porch with a microphone and a notepad. Waller rapped for nearly a minute, building up as the beat got louder.

“Don’t you dare play checkers on my board, I play chess, bitch. And when I fall, my brothers lift me up like Byron Leftwich,” Waller raps.

Shit, I just can’t get over how much of a loser this guy is…Kelsey Plum averted the crisis of a lifetime in my opinion.
