New York woman goes ‘boy sober’ after feeling deflated by dating scene: ‘Was so miserable’

One woman says she considers herself “sober” after a tough few years in New York’s dating scene.

Carly Galluzzo, 28, from Long Island, New York, has recently given up on dating.

Galluzzo said she went on four dates a month last year but realized she was trying to find a boyfriend “out of fear,” SWNS reported.

“I thought we had to continue dating. [and] It didn’t matter whether the men were good or not,” she said.

“I can tell you now that I lived my life crying my eyes out on a yacht in the south of France… It was truly miserable.”

“When we were dating in New York, they were dating models, so I was wondering how I could make myself look more attractive,” she said, as reported by SWNS.
