Newlyweds snap wedding photos in grocery-store aisle where they first met

On their wedding day, the couple returned to the place where it all began for a unique photo shoot. That included meals.

Jessica and Jaxom Weston-Brown recently tied the knot after dating for the past seven years, but their love story started in a unique way.

When they met in 2017, they were both employees at a Waitrose & Partners supermarket in Eastbourne, England.

Jessica Weston-Brown told SWNS that Jaxom Weston-Brown asked her to train him on how to stock the potato chip aisle.

“We realized right away that we were very similar,” she said.

The two began dating soon after they met, and even lived together long distance for a time while Weston-Brown lived in Cambridge.

“Then we moved back to Eastbourne and got married,” Jessica Weston-Brown said.

The 27-year-old bride said the idea to revisit the grocery store that brought them together on their wedding day originally came from a joke between friends.

“It started as a joke a few years ago. One of our friends posted an Instagram reel in a group chat of people returning to the place they met on their wedding day,” she told SWNS told.

She added, “All of my friends are couples who met on dating apps, and they say they would never do something like this.''

On their wedding day in August, the couple decided to stop by a Waitrose & Partners store in their wedding attire.

After getting married at a nearby church, the couple stopped at a supermarket on the way to the reception and took some photos.

“As we were walking around in our wedding outfits taking pictures, there were random people gathering around shopping and taking things off the shelves,'' Jessica Weston-Brown said, “It's so funny.'' ” he joked.

The couple took a photo at the potato chip shop where they met for the first time, and the bride describes the moment as “really wonderful.''

According to SWNS, together they selected a bag of Black Peppercorn Kettle Chips to commemorate the occasion, which they plan to open on their one-year anniversary.
