Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom released an ad Sunday showing police in Alabama forcing young women to take pregnancy tests.
“Alabama’s abortion ban has no exceptions for rape or incest. Republicans are now trying to criminalize young women traveling for abortion care. We can’t let them get away with this.” said Newsom on X while sharing a video.
