The 2024 NFL Draft will feature perhaps the most potent group of offensive tackle prospects in recent memory. NFL teams looking for solutions at left and right tackle are overjoyed by the number of immediate contributors available throughout the draft. A player with six or more tackles is expected to be selected among the first 32 picks.
SB Nation polled several draft analysts to determine the consensus top offensive tackles. We combined consensus voting to identify the top 10 prospects. They are:
10. Patrick Paul, Houston
Paul combines a 97th percentile arm length (36 1/4 inches) with a 96th percentile wingspan (84 1/4 inches). Paul is also in the 91st percentile for height (6-7 1/2 inches) and 87th percentile for weight (331). Don’t you think the general manager is betting on those traits with a top-75 selection? Paul needs to be more efficient with his footwork, but his size and athleticism scream moldable traits.
9. Kingsley Suamataia, BYU
BYU continues to field athletic offensive tackles, with Suamataia being the runner-up. Suamataia also has the length, size and power to be both a left and right tackle. NFL offensive coordinators will appreciate how Suamataia blends his aggressive approach and athleticism to eliminate defenders in the run game.

8. Jordan Morgan, Arizona
Morgan isn’t the biggest or longest tackle in the class, but he is one of the most experienced and technically advanced players. Morgan started 37 career games for the Wildcats and played against a number of high-end pass rushers this season, including UCLA’s Laiatu Latu. Morgan combines his strength and foot speed to succeed on the island at the next level.
7. Graham Burton, Duke
Barton will almost certainly play inside kicks to guard or center in the NFL. Like Peter Skoronski last season, Burton primarily played tackle at Duke, but his arm length was in the 29th percentile (32⅞ inches) and he totaled 2,134 on the blindside with the Blues. Despite logging only a few snaps, his chances of playing tackle at the next level seem prohibitive. Demons over the past three campaigns. Perhaps Burton’s NFL club is giving him a chance to prove he can still play tackle, but the Brentwood, Tenn., native is preparing to make a successful position change.

6. Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma State
Guyton is another prospect with a lot of upside with raw technical characteristics. Although his hand position and punch timing need to improve, Guyton is a blocker with rare size, dimension and athleticism at 6-foot-7, 322 pounds. Guyton’s athleticism was evident at his NFL Combine, where he recorded a 34.5-inch vertical jump. If Guyton can find the right offensive line coach who can overcome his inconsistency, the sky is the limit.
5. Taliace Huaga, Oregon Street
Fuaga came in third place in one poll and was as low as ninth in another. No offensive tackle candidate has received such a wide range of votes. There was some discussion about Fuaga sliding and guarding in the pro ranks, but his 33-inch arms (15th percentile) only strengthened those arguments. On tape, Fuaga is a physical blocker with a nasty demeanor who aims to punish opposing defenders as a high upside run blocker.
4. Amarius Mims, Georgia
Mims probably has the highest ceiling of any tackle prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. Mims never played more than 385 snaps in his one season, and that number was actually 297 in his 2023 season. Sample Though his size is significantly smaller than desired, Mims is a monster with a dream wingspan, standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing nearly 340 pounds. (86 ¾ inches) and length (36 ⅛ inches). Mims then jumped the 9-foot-3 Broad at the NFL Combine. Mims checks the physical boxes of a franchise blocker that teams covet.
3. JC Latham, Alabama
Latham, who received the clear No. 3 vote, is expected to be an instant starter at right tackle. Latham’s decision to skip training at the NFL Combine and Pro Day raised some eyebrows because of his athletic profile, but the tape paints a clear picture. Latham is a dominant attacker, with measurements in the 82nd percentile or higher for weight (342), wingspan (84⅜ inches), arm length (35⅛ inches), and hand size (11 inches). is. Latham’s unteachables will endear him to NFL general managers.

2. Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Pennsylvania
Only two tackle candidates received first and second place votes. Mr. Fashanu received one first-place vote and the remaining second-place votes. Fashanu began the 2023 college football campaign in competition with Alto for OT1 bragging rights. Fashanu’s tape showed some technical (but fixable) warts this past campaign, but the Nittany Lions standout was evidenced by his 5.11 40-yard dash and 32-inch vertical at the NFL Combine. He has rare athletic skills. Fashanu is a top 15 pick.
1. Joe Alt, Notre Dame
Alt was almost unanimously the top player, but only had one second place vote on the ledger. I can understand why. Alt is the most complete offensive tackle prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. Alto has the strength, size, and athleticism necessary to develop into an elite blindside protector who earns annual Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections. Ort is plug-and-play at left tackle. He has the No. 7 overall pick in his basement, owned by the Tennessee Titans who need a tackle.
