Ashton Jeanty was able to pick up a “small” lesson from his father ahead of the NFL Draft.

Soon the first round picks were preparing to hear his name, called Green Bay on Thursday night, and realized his lifelong dream of becoming a professional.

However, his father, Harry, served in the Navy, but participating was not an easy process.

“Before they enter the army, they do various tests, MRIs, screenings. It’s the same way they combine it with drafts. They have to do the same thing. It’s kind of funny.”

Jeanti got a taste of what he once did when his father and his father served when he visited. Mitchell Air National Guard General Base Working with the USAA in Milwaukee.

“It was really easy for me. I am grateful for my relationship with my father, not only for his military, he is in the military, for his partnership, for his salute to his service partners. Visit the Milwaukee National Guard and see what he does in life.

“It was cool to see their daily process and how detailed everything is and what they do every day. We can’t do what we do without their service.”

“It was dope. I think the biggest thing was seeing how detailed it was everything, how little room for errors and mistakes. Honestly, they do these things every day, so the accuracy and attention to detail is amazing.

Jeanti said he is now older and now he has been able to understand more about his father’s days.

“He didn’t give me too much detail exactly what they were doing. Now I’m old, so he tells me what happened on the ship and what was going on. I used to be so young, so I really didn’t understand that.
