The NFL Combine is home to the biggest activity draft prospects can experience before they hear their name called in April during the NFL Draft.
The Combine interview is part of the evaluation that prospects undergo. This is the first time they’ve been in front of NFL reporters and media, so getting to know their personalities is sure to lead to some funny quotes…or like Texas Tech safety Tyler Owens, who doesn’t believe in the universe. There may be some people. Is it real?
Well, with that out of the way, let’s move on to the QB, WR, and RB who stepped up to the podium today and said the best words.
Roman Odunze can’t fly a plane, so don’t ask him to fly a plane
Will Roman Odunze be able to land the plane in an emergency?
‘Absolutely not. It’s going down. All souls perished. ”
(I don’t know why he was asked that, but he didn’t panic). #NFLDraft #NFL Combine

Now I have to reconsider my ranking of Odunze. I think he can land the plane in an emergency, but if Odunze is drafted anywhere near what is expected, he will face adversity. Knowing that you can land the plane is a huge savings.
Can Audric Estim sing?
Don’t hesitate and stock up. Being able to sing Estime is like discovering a hidden artifact that will eventually become the centerpiece of your collection. Please let him go to Philadelphia so he can be on the Philadelphia Special Christmas Album.
AD Mitchell wants a pet parrot
Someone jokingly asked AD Mitchell if he thought birds were real.
“That’s a strange question, brother. Once you’ve calmed down, you’ll have someone to talk to in the crib, and I’m going to tell you that I’d like to get a parrot as a pet.”
Legend.

Honestly, this is the most tame quote from today’s interview, and some pretty sweet words from Mitchell. While the other men would like to spend time with a dog in their new home, Mitchell chooses a parrot because he wants someone to talk to at home. If he gets drafted, let’s find a parrot?
Sam Hartman’s hair is amazing
I mean, look at him.
Look at him.
If football doesn’t work out, he’ll make a lot of money doing cop movies set in the ’80s.
Caleb Williams is both an artist and a surgeon.
Williams says that as a QB, you can be both an artist and a surgeon. He says there are critical moments for both styles of play.

It’s really cool to hear a young QB explain something I’ve been thinking a lot about about the modern style of play. Being an artist means being able to play off schedule and creating when the going gets tough, but being a surgeon and moving the ball efficiently means being able to play off schedule and create when the going gets tough, but being a surgeon and moving the ball efficiently is extremely needed. Williams knows that’s a big goal.
Williams certainly seems confident.
Chicago’s Caleb Williams doesn’t have a great track record as a quarterback:

He certainly seems like the frontrunner to be number one right now.
Hint Does Riemann believe that birds are not real?
Illinois TE Tip Lyman is an avid member of the “Birds Aren’t Real” movement.
“Have you ever seen a baby pigeon?”
“How do we know that power lines are not charging stations for pigeons?”Shocking moment at the combine

I just…I don’t know, I have no words for what’s going on with this. Instead, read my colleague Gina Kelly about why birds are actually very real.
