NFL Draft: Will Campbell takes issue with arm measurement questions

Former LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell could be one of the players first filmed in the NFL Draft next month, but part of the process seemed too much.

Campbell had trouble with questions about measuring his arm after taking part in LSU Pro Day.

His arm length measured 33 inches on Wednesday. This said it was longer than 32 5/8 inches he came to the Scouting Combine last month. Go to nfl.com.

He pushed back whether his arm measurements would be successful in the pros.

“No one had me any measurements for two years and said nothing about my play,” he said via Team 33. “So now, all of a sudden, do you decide if I'm a good player or not? I think that's BS.”

“NFL decision makers don't really care. It's everyone who doesn't coach and doesn't coach for a reason.”

Campbell is predicted to be one of the first offensive linemen filmed in the draft. In at least one mock draft, he was taken to No. 4 by the New England Patriots.

He was a consensus national in 2024 and was the winner of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy. He was the first team's all-SEC selection in 2023 and 2024, and the second team's all-Sec selection in 2022.
