Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Fabre He praised President Donald Trump on Thursday this week after signing an executive order that effectively bans trans athletes from competing in women's and women's sports.
Trump signed “Exclude men from women's sports” Wednesday order. This requires entities receiving federal funds to work with Title IX. Title IX was changed last week to allow the Trump administration to recognize protections based on biological sex.

“President @RealdonaldTrump is grateful that he has signed an initiative to prevent biological boys from competing with women,” Favre said in a post on the X of the Executive Order. “It's sad that this had to happen at this age and at this age, but I'm happy that it was possible.”
Fabre also thanked Gaines for hosting it. “Gaines for Girls” by Outkick Podcast, “It's part of this initiative to move this forward.”

Surrounded by female athletes, Trump declared at the signing ceremony that “the war with women's sports is over.”
In response to the executive order, NCAA Chairman Charlie Baker said the board will review it and take steps to adjust the organization's policies in the coming days.
“The NCAA is an organization of 1,100 universities from all 50 states that collectively register more than 50,000 student-athletes,” the statement read.

“We strongly believe that clear, consistent, unified eligibility standards will best serve today's student-athletes, rather than a patchwork of conflicting state laws and court decisions. That's why President Trump's orders are It provides clear national standards.”

Pressure arises amid the imminent change in leadership in the IOC. Currently President Thomas Bach is set to retire, and Sebastian Coe, the best candidate to replace him, spoke publicly about his position in protecting women's sports.
