NFL legend Lando Moss revealed that he is “battling” an illness during a TV appearance. ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown Show wearing sunglasses. The former Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots star wide receiver did not reveal what he was struggling with, but asked viewers and fans to pray for him to come out on top. “I wanted to let the viewers know that me, my wife, and my family are fighting something inside of us,” Moss said during the show, surrounded by co-hosts Mike Greenberg, Rex Ryan and Alex. After Moss' update, all of the panel's co-hosts simultaneously pulled out their glasses and wore them to show solidarity with NFL alumni. “All for one, one for all,” Mr. Greenberg said, sliding his glasses down his face. “If he wears glasses, then we all wear glasses today.”
Moss, who turns 48 next year, is a six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro after playing 14 years in the NFL. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018, his first year of eligibility.

After a video clip of Mr Moss' health update went viral, fans from around the world cheered him on and wished him luck on his recovery journey.
One user said: “It's heartwarming to see their solidarity in wearing glasses with him,” while another added: “I love you Randy the goat!!! I'm praying for you.” .
A third user speculated: “Eye changes are most common in cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. This is especially true for patients with head and neck cancers because the radiation is delivered near the eyes.”
Notably, Moss joined the ESPN crew in 2016 and is currently a regular member of the “Sunday NFL Countdown” crew, but prior to that he also worked as a broadcaster at Fox Sports.
