NFL news: Eagles’ Brandon Graham re-tore triceps in Super Bowl win

Brand Glaham, the defensive side of the Philadelphia Eagles, tore his triceps 11 weeks before Super Bowl LIX, doubting his position in the big game.

Graham, 36, is rehabilitated from an injury and is suited to the Eagles' 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 15-year veteran played 13 snaps in victory, NFL reporter Derrick Gunn.

“You're back to get your butt back, so that's going to feel great,” Graham said of playing in the Super Bowl last week. “I know the team left their ass to get here and I want to be there for them.”

Graham said before the season this would be his final year, but has not publicly declared whether he will retire after the Super Bowl win.

Graham plays the most games in Eagles history at 206 than Jason Kelse, the second in franchise history in 193.

Graham was one of two position players, remaining on the Eagles' championship team in the 2017 season, playing in a Super Bowl Chief victory.

In the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, Graham left 2:11 in the fourth quarter, sealing off the Eagles' 41-33 victory.

In a 38-35 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl two years ago, Graham played 18 snaps without tackles or bags.
