How will “Monday Night Football” affect the playoff standings in Week 7?
The Buccaneers and Ravens will face off, so one will be 5-2 and the other will be 4-3.
If the Ravens win, they will move past the Steelers into third place in the district record. If Tampa loses, the Bucks will fall completely out of the playoff picture and the Atlanta Falcons will take the lead in the division.
If the Buccaneers win, their conference record will move them into second place in the NFC. If the Ravens fall to 4-3, they will finish in seventh place by the end of the week. The Colts will pass them and tie Denver for the conference record. The Ravens would win the tiebreaker thanks to superior winning strength. Indianapolis ranked 6th, Baltimore 7th and Denver 8th.
The Cardinals and Chargers also play Monday night. The Chargers won't move up in the standings if they win, but a loss could knock them out of the playoffs.
