NFL power rankings for Week 7: One division is dominating

What about soccer in the north?

A year after the AFC North made NFL history by finishing with a winning record over all four of its teams, the NFC North is looking to repeat that feat.

All three teams that played Sunday had wins again, but the undefeated Vikings saw their cushion in the division shrink in the bye week.

The NFC North is the first division since realignment in 2002 with all four teams winning at least four games through six weeks.

But how do these teams compare to the rest of the NFL?

Here are The Post's power rankings for Week 7:

1. Chiefs 5-0 (1)

The last time the Chiefs went 5-0 was in 2018, Patrick Mahomes' first year as a starter, before he won three Super Bowls. He enjoyed a bye week by attending a Royals playoff game, but his magic never faded. How much longer can the Chiefs get turnaround performances from running back Kareem Hunt and receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, both of whom left the NFL?

2. Vikings 5-0 (2)

Although not a lock to start when training camp began, Sam Darnold threw for 1,111 yards and 11 touchdowns in an undefeated start and unexpectedly entered the MVP conversation. Brian Flores' electrifying defense led him to the NFL's second-most sacks (20), behind Patrick Jones II (5), entering the bye week. Automatic kicker Will Reichard will also be helpful.

The Lions beat the Cowboys for the fourth-best home loss in franchise history and nearly put head coach Mike McCarthy's career on the line. However, pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending foot injury.

4. Texans 5-1 (4)

CJ Stroud, whose 2023 season set the example for rookie quarterbacks, introduced the Patriots' Drake Maye to the NFL in his first career start. 5. Ravens 4-2(5)

Lamar Jackson threw for 323 yards and a touchdown against the Commanders, outscoring rookie Jaden Daniels, who is said to be the closest thing to Jackson, in a 30-23 victory. Derrick Henry ran for two touchdowns, Mark Andrews ultimately caught a touchdown pass, and the defense held the incredibly accurate Daniels to a season-high tying 11 incompletions.

6. Proposal 4-2(6)

Josh Allen was a one-man band with two touchdown passes and one touchdown run as the Bills defeated the Jets 23-20 for first place in the AFC East. Tyler Bass atoned for an earlier mistake by kicking a tying 22-yard field goal with 3:43 left, and Taron Johnson ended the Jets' final possession with a diving interception.

7. Falcons 4-2 (8)

After a game in which Kirk Cousins threw for 507 yards, the Falcons became a ground attack, with Tyler Allgaier and Bijan Robinson combining for 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 38-20 victory over the Panthers. Romeo Doubes, who had been suspended for one game for skipping practice, caught two of Jordan Love's four touchdown passes in a 34-13 victory over the Cardinals. A total of nine different players caught passes from Love, leading to four straight scoring drives and a 24-0 lead. The Packers stole three takeaways.
