New England Patriots beat reporter Doug Kaid announced that his 2-year-old daughter Hallie passed away Sunday after a battle with leukemia.
Mr Kaid said Harry had been battling the disease for nine months and had a successful transplant in October, but he “relapsed” after a bone marrow transplant last week.
A reporter for the Boston Herald said Harry's chemotherapy was “ineffective” and that “by the time she started experimental treatment, her advanced leukemia was out of control.”

Kiedo said he and his wife, Jen, were in bed holding their daughter's hand when she passed away in her sleep.
“We are completely lost and heartbroken with Harry gone. Our lives will never be the same. Harry was a special child who had a positive impact on so many people he met. .We were lucky to be her parents. Chiedo said doctors “did everything they could” to help her daughter.
“There is a huge hole in my heart and the pain is excruciating, but she was a very special little person and I am so grateful to have her in my life and to love her and be her mother. Thank you,” Jen said. she wrote in her own post.
“I don't know how this is going to work. I hope she wakes up in another world with another version of us and that she has a beautiful life.”
The family will hold a wake on Friday, followed by a private funeral.
