Crucial NFL Sunday Ahead
Today might be a significant turning point in the unfolding narrative of the 2025 NFL season.
There are some big matchups lined up for Sunday. The action kicks off in the early afternoon, featuring the 6-3 Buffalo Bills facing off against the 6-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buffalo is coming off a surprising defeat against the Miami Dolphins, which puts them three games behind the New England Patriots, thanks to New England’s victory over the New York Jets on Thursday night. Tampa Bay really needs a win to maintain their lead over the 5-5 Carolina Panthers.
Later on, two vital divisional games will take place in both the AFC West and NFC West. The Denver Broncos currently lead their division with a 6-2 record and will host the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 5-4. But, as the game is set to start at 4:25 p.m. ET, the matchup often referred to as the DVOA Bowl between the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks and the 7-2 Los Angeles Rams will greatly influence the outcome of the NFC West title.
It’s unfortunate, though, that not everyone will have the opportunity to catch all the action.
The Sunday slate wraps up with a closely contested game between the 6-3 Detroit Lions and the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles.
Of course, each game holds immense importance in this league.
